Answer: I envision film making as a canvas that defines the Art of the narrative; a morality play, if you will, with deep roots based within the oral traditions of the ancient story tellers. Each play is a model of social perfection defining the morality of social consciousness. The narrative is an attempt at moving society toward a more constructive path. The viewer watches this mental program, the film, is absorbed into it's content and, if the film is just and well-constructed, the viewer is changed by this experience in some small way, hopefully for the better. 2. Why film making and not some other art form? Answer: Film making encompasses so many different art forms, theater, literature, poetry, visual arts and social interaction; no other art form grants one such a canvas to compose a story with such a variety of tools. It is a plastic medium which allows a multitude of interpretation through the natural diversity of the medium.
